Hi!
When browsing to https://photos.google.com my browser hangs.
I am quite sure this is specific to my PC, and probably orginates from GPU, as this happens on Firefox **and** Chrome...
Chrome devs are not heplful tracing this.
I am using a Dell Latitude 5511:
Intel® Core™ i7-10850H × 12
Mesa Intel® UHD Graphics (CML GT2)
Gnome 43.3-2
X11
errors:

Does this happen to anyone else?

And if you can, monitor the webinspector.
Do you have a swap partition? What does your RAM load look like "when browsing to https://photos.google.com"?
What about your CPU load?
Does the problem go away when you run the browser w/o HW acceleration?
killall chromium; sleep 10; chromium --disable-gpu
Online
Remove xf86-video-intel and any configs referencing it if applicable. It isn't maintained properly since years and has not been updated for newer iGPUs
