Open RBG: "One or more I2C/SMBus interfaces failed to initialize."

Hello and thank you for your help,

I have come across the following error while using openrgb: One or more I2C/SMBus interfaces failed to initialize.
May someone point me to the right direction, please?

This is my i2cdetect -l output

[grnm@gbox ~]$ i2cdetect -l

this is my i2cdetect -y -r 1 output

[grnm@gbox ~]$ i2cdetect -y -r 1

Re: Open RBG: "One or more I2C/SMBus interfaces failed to initialize."

I have no offerings for this post except to say I have a similar issue. I've been looking into OpenRGB's github, but I am not good at coding to proffer any solutions (or really understand what isn't working for me or OP).
