No longer able to connect to wifi

Up until a few days ago, I was able to connect to my college wifi (or any other wireless network) without any problems, however, recently my laptop stopped being able to connect to wireless networks properly. By this I mean that I am able to connect to the network, however when trying to ping something i just get a "Temporary failure in name resolution error". I somehow fixed this myself a few days ago, but I can't remember how and it clearly was not effective because the problem returned today. I have tried changing the nameserver in /etc/resolv.conf a few times, (neither 1.1.1.1, 8.8.8.8, 9.9.9.9, or any other DNS server work) and also by checking if systemd-resolved.service is up. I connect to wifi with wpa_supplicant via a systemd service. Sorry if this doesn't make any sense, I'm not great with network configuration.
