Hi all,
I always create and update my own AUR packages manually (following this article), that means, writing PKGBUILD and running commands manually.
It can be dull, and easily run into some mistakes when doing carelessly.
I'm wondering is there any software can do all those this for me? What I need to do is just click on some buttons and fill some forms.
If there is no software like this, anyone interested in doing this?
Thanks!

Some people use custom templates to make creating PKGBUILDs easier .
Incase there are already packages in an ecosystem not supported by pacman , PKGBUILD Generators may come in handy .
Personally I see package maintainers as artisans that create unique products and wouldn't use such software to create packages.
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

I don't think anyone would be interested in writing a GUI for this. Updating a PKGBUILD can however be automated with relative ease: https://github.com/bcyran/bumper
Mods are just community members who have the occasionally necessary option to move threads around and edit posts. -- Trilby
