Hi!
After updating to the latest linux-lts and nvidia-lts my boot hangs for a bit, because of kernel module errors.
Trying to startx freezes the computer.
Issues disappear when I downgrade linux-lts, linux-headers, nvidia-lts and nvidia-utils.
I have tried to switch to the linux kernel from lts and switch to nvidia/nvidia-dkms, but the issue is still present.
Here's my journalctl output when booting linux-lts with nvidia-lts: http://ix.io/4rl5
There is a very weird error after:
traps: Missing ENDBR: _nv012309rm+0x0/0x10 [nvidia]Does anyone know what the "kernel bug" means?
FWIW I am currently using the latest linux-lts with nouveau and the system is working fine, so the problem is with nvidia.
How should I proceed to troubleshoot this?
Assist is appreciated!

You don't update all that often, do you?
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/NVIDIA#Installation - blue note, see the "ibt=off" stuff.

Thanks for pointing out
ibt=offI was able to startx without problems on nvidia-lts after adding the above kernel parameter.
Sadly I have been kind of inactive with computers for a bit, so I haven't updated regularly.
Marking the post as solved. Thank you!
