Doing a system cleanup

I'm trying to remove unneeded packages from my system. Any of these safe to remove?
bin86 cpio mdadm pcmciautils  procps psmisc lshwd unifdef

bin86 is needed for assembling code, so if you compile anything I'd keep it around.
mdadm yes, if you don't use software raid.
pcmciautils yes, if you don't use pcmcia.
procps and psmisc you should keep around. The ps utility is in procps.
lshwd I don't know.
unifdef should be OK from its description, but I wonder why you have it to begin with.
