My computer don't identyfi my Creative Zen Sleek

I have installed Gnomad2, but the player isn't recognized. 

Dmesg:
usb 4-3: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 4
usb 4-3: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice

I don't think that will help me.  It's not that I can acess it, it's that my computer can't seem define it as an mp3 player.

you probably need the udev rule
to have gnomad2 know where to look
that is unless it is its a mass storage device in which case you may need this stuff for udev rule

if you have a sata or scsi drive it will be seen as /dev/sdX  if your device is a mass storage device it will come up as /dev/sdY

oh here i did your homework

/etc/udev/rules.d/00-zen.rules

# Creative Zen Sleek
SYSFS{idVendor}=="041e", SYSFS{idProduct}=="4137", SYMLINK+="njb-%n", MODE="666"

try it if it dont work than remove it
a little googling would have done it though

Mass storage device? Isn't that flash-based mp3players?

Yeah. It didn't help.

But I found something else. 

mtp-detect made connection

Is there a gui for mtp?
