Dell cpx650 and ati

Installed Arch base, installed xorg ,hwd, ati drivers and flux. when i run startx i get error (EE) no devices detected
fatal server error:
no screens found
XIO:....
Really don't want to have to try and post xorg, to long. Anyone have any idea right off hand. going out of town in the morning and would like to get the problem solved tonight. thanks!!!!

Have you run aticonfig to generate your xorg.conf?
