find the rootcause why app consumes all cpu..

how to debug & find out & limit
bring the unruly app to fold?

extremely unstable to pin-point when..
sometimes it starts ok. yet slowly but surely left
unattended or not it ends up consuming both cores..
other times reboots, login/outs seems to resolve it
for a while & then again in time always high cpu load..
& now no matter what it's grinding 100cpu from the start..

both ~ config dirs have been purged.. to no avail..
the nasty app seems to keep all settings in their cloud..

how to know is it the app or some system os issue?
should any virt firejail/sandboxing be used?

do they run a crypto-miner under
the hood or something..
what the helll..
