EDIT: Now in the AUR - Thanks to Tardo and Snowman!
"A userspace utility for testing the memory subsystem for faults. It's portable and should compile and work on any 32- or 64-bit Unix-like system. (Yes, even weird, proprietary Unices.)"
"memtester is licensed under the GNU General Public License version 2 (only)."

Not sure about dependencies, but this worked for me. I'll add it to AUR soon.

Few comment|:
The
makedepends=('glibc')
line can be removed. Everyone has glibc installed.
The build function could be simplified. Replace
gzip -c memtester.8 >memtester.8.gz
mkdir -p $startdir/pkg/usr/bin
mkdir -p $startdir/pkg/usr/man/man8
cp memtester $startdir/pkg/usr/bin
cp memtester.8.gz $startdir/pkg/usr/man/man8
by
install -D -m755 memtester $startdir/pkg/usr/bin/memtester
install -D -m644 memtester.8 $startdir/pkg/usr/man/man8/memtester.8
makepkg automatically compress man pages.
You could use namcap to check for the dependencies.

Thanks for the tips. Wasn't sure if a dependency was required so I put it there. And namcap didn't show anything =[

Thanks guys, much appreciated.
