my kernel is kernel26-scsi-2.6.3-1ㄝ, CPU P4-2.6G (Hyper-Threading ), how can i fixed it

my fixed:
in .config

CONFIG_X86_MCE_P4THERMAL=y
change to
# CONFIG_X86_MCE_P4THERMAL is not set

re-compiler pkg

So you disabled the thermalprobe so that you are sure to burn out your cpu?

That thermal thingy isn't there just to fool you around and reduce the clockspeed of your cpu!

Are you even sure that your cooling (like a fan) is working?

Yeah, I had that same error.  My cooling was fine... But I would get 50+ messages a minute and it would lock up my system.  So I took it out of the kernel and everything is fine.  I mean, I wasn't overclocking and I'm using an Intel, and I have 2 fans..
