Got greeted by that warning window today so went to check.
When opening 'Preferences' > 'Libraries' it states "FFmpeg library not found", and here's the weird thing, no matter what I do, it keeps saying not found, I've pointed it to libavformat.so, libavformat.so.60, libavformat.so.60.3.100 on both /lib and /lib64 but it just refuses to load. Any ideas?
Both FFmpeg and Audacity are up to date (6.0-4 and 3.2.5-2 respectively)

On my system both ffmpeg and ffmpeg4.4 are installed, and audacity does find the needed libraries . The numbers it lists on the libraries tab suggest it looks for libavformat.58.76.100 which does come from ffmpeg 4.4 .
Try installing ffmpeg4.4 , if that does help please create a bug report to have the optional dep changed.
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

I've reported this already: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/77828

Yeah that did it.
I'm assuming this is upstream stuff? any particular reason it doesn't use 6.0?
