Right to left Arabic support in Alacrity terminal

I am using Alacrity terminal in Arch Linux. Is there a way I can get it to properly display Arabic text and render it as a right to left? It currently displays the letters but NOT from right to left. The words are also not rendered properly, for e.g. the letters are not joined together when they are supposed to be.

It doesn't look like this is supported in alacritty yet.

Seems only supported by Konsole/QTermWidget and VTE (gnome stuff)

That's a very odd list as it's missing quite a few major entries.  I'm pretty sure urxvt has good support for RTL.

Re: Right to left Arabic support in Alacrity terminal

What do you base that on?
I just tried pasting "الثعلب البني السريع" ("the quick brown fox", according to google) and it completely behaves LTR (and there're no ligatures either, but I didn't specifically configure anything for that)
Copy and pasting it back still looks good, "الثعلب البني السريع" but the glyphs are mirrored in the terminal.

I have no experience with it myself.  My point was not necessarily afirming that other terminals had this ability (though I've seen in noted by RTL language users as a preferred terminal because of this ability), but more so that the table in the linked wiki page was lacking a lot of major terminal emulators so concluding that only the ones with a green "yes" in that table support RTL seems problematic.

I doubt that the list is up-to-date.
I can write Hebrew fine in vim: https://srv.richard-neumann.de/hebrew-vim.png
Not so much in alacritty or urxvt, however.
