amule PKGBUILD

hi, I compiled amule from abs (I changed some configure options)
in the PKGBUILD the md5-sum for the amule-source-file is missing...
is that a bug or wanted?

Re: amule PKGBUILD

I've made a couple pkgbuild's, nothing fancy, but I've just made them quick and never filled in an MD5 on them. It will give this error because it can't find the variable when it looks for it after a successful download. Nothing to worry about, but if your submitting it, it's required to have one I believe.

yes, I know.
I only wondered because I used the original PKGBUILD from the abs-tree...

Re: amule PKGBUILD

I don't think it's a big deal unless you plan on submitting it.

I feel that you have been misunderstood. You do not want to submit anything. What you mean is that in the original arch PKGBUILD for amule (in the extra repository CVS, downloadable through abs) there is no md5-sum for the downloaded sources: an if you meant this, you are right.

This seems to me a bug (probably originated by the fact that once upon a time that PKGBUILD grabbed the source from amule cvs, where md5sums make no sense). I think that you should submit a (low-priority) bug-report in Flyspray.
