gmplayer: strange zooming in fullscreen

Hello all  big_smile

I can't understand my gmplayer, when i start dvd in full screen - i see only a little part of picture in big zoom. I don't know how correct it.
please advice. :?:

i forgot to say about mplayer without gui works fine, and when i switch to root everything fine. But  if i try  sudo gmplayer - it's don't work.

what video driver is set in the preferences? i think you probably want xv (X11/Xv).

As mentioned above, you are probably using the x11 video output. Change it to xv or gl(2) instead.

Also one small hint:
Get mplayer-svn from aur. It has some nice improvements over the one in extra. Specialy when it comes to rendering 'ass' subs
