This shows what a real-time and accurate weather app looks like by taking a screenshot directly of the weather website. A screenshot with cutycapt without opening the web browser and crop with convert (ImageMagic terminal command). You can also paste (with option -gravity ) the weather screenshot on your wallpaper. This screenshot is added to a Yad dialog box. There is a simple bash daemon that updates the screenshot every 15 minutes. The desktop runs in FVWM.

This gives an idea of Fvwm customized functions and also shows a tiled wallpaper for any screen resolution (PNG image 960x540 for 1920x1080 screen). For example, the triangle button at top right corner has three functions (left mouse click (on/off workspace panel, middle click (terminal), and right click (Thunar).

Making the transition from xorg to wayland with a minimal hyprland setup, just as I'm used to with dwm.
fake busy to show the dracula-ish color theme;
P.S. Needless to say that getting the nvidia card to run was a bit of a hassle and it shows some flickering in spotify, Minetest and Dwarf Fortress, but that's a topic for another post.
