Equalizer for 32 bit games

I have installed alsaequal according to the wiki instructions. However when I launch 32-bit games I get this console message:

Cannot open shared library /usr/lib32/alsa-lib/libasound_module_pcm_equal.so

Can anyone advise a way to run 32-bit applications through the equalizer?

You need to build this lib as 32bit.

And looking at the upstream code you'd have to adjust the makefile directly to make the necessary changes. Not on a linux to test or I could maybe give you some pointers. 

More generally I'd reccommend you use pulseaudio/pipewire and equalizer integrations implemented there like you can e.g. configure with easyeffects or so.
