Arch Linux Portable USB ?

Hi, I am new to Linux and I am working on a project. I have a script that I have successfully run on Linux Mint, but I am now looking to create a portable version of Arch Linux that I can run from a USB drive. I don't need to save anything on the USB drive, but I do need to install a few packages and dependencies to run my script.

My goal is to have a bootable USB drive with a portable version of Arch Linux that runs in CLI mode only (no desktop), and automatically runs my two bash scripts upon booting. The packages I need to install include upower, dmidecode, qrencode, fbset, utils-linux, and a few others with their dependencies. I suppose wifi would be useful as well.

I would like to know how to make the Arch Linux installation portable and persistent on the USB drive. I am comfortable with installing the necessary packages and setting up the system to run in CLI mode, as well as launching my scripts on startup. Any guidance on how to make the installation portable and persistent would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

[edit] another question I have, while maintaining general functionality for my scripts. How fast is it possible to make it boot, I am looking for something quick ideally under 10-15 seconds. It will run from ATLEAST a USB 3.0 flash drive in systems with USB 3.0 ports
