Hi - I am new to Arch, though not to Linux.
Anyway I installed Arch some time back (base + selected packages). Now mkisofs is not installed on the system and searching for it with pacman brings up this

An ncurses CD writer program which uses cdrecord and mkisofs
extra/gcombust 0.1.55-3
gtk+ frontend for mkisofs, mkhybrid, cdrecord, and cdlabelgen
extra/graveman 0.3.12.5-3
A CD-burning frontend for mkisofs, cdrecord and friends
extra/tcdr 2.1-4
TCDR is a dialog-based console frontend for mkisofs, cdrecord, cdrdao, mkzftree, cdparanoia,
cdda2wav, bladeenc, lame, oggenc, ogg123, mpg123, and sox written in bash.
[raja@arch shared]$ sudo pacman -S cdw

I recognize that while theory and practice are, in theory, the same, they are, in practice, different. -Mark Mitchell

Late hint for newbies: Check the man pages, the package is listed on the right - https://man.archlinux.org/man/mkisofs.8

Seems a stronger warning is needed. Take two weeks to read the General Guidelines and commit them to memory.
