Does gsettings-desktop-schemas really need adobe-source-code-pro-fonts

I want to delete adobe-source-code-pro-fonts (https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/an … pro-fonts/), but I cannot delete it, because it is required by gsettings-desktop-schemas (https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/an … p-schemas/), which is required by Gnome desktop. But I wonder, does gsettings-desktop-schemas really need that specific font in order to be functional? Doesn't any mono font do? Liberation Mono font is already installed which looks find to me, and adobe-source-code-pro-fonts adds 6 entries with various thicknesses, which pollutes the font list in apps like LibreOffice Writer.

Shouldn't adobe-source-code-pro-fonts be an optional package for gsettings-desktop-schemas, or shouldn't gsettings-desktop-schemas depend on any mono font, instead of that specific mono font?
