lxappearance cursor doesnt apply to everything

hello! i installed Arch a few days ago, i have a preferred cursor, installed, and im using lxappearance to select it here:
correct cursor
this works fine on Discord, Kitty, but on things like LibreWolf, Minecraft, and when hovering over Waybar, it switches back to the Adawaita cursor...
how can i fix this? can i use something else to handle the cursor?

im using Wayland with Hyprland, and therefore Waybar
im not sure if its an LXDE session, first login i had a program called "Customize look and feel" in the application menu, so im just using that

thank you -w- i think i need to think harder about whether something i have an issue with is contained in Hyprland or Arch cuz thats twice in a row XD
