Single partition layout

Is archinstall script able to install Arch on a disk which contains only one partition - /dev/sda1?
I'm using version 2.5.5 which corrected cryptsetup error from the previous version.
It seemed to have started the installation - downloaded base packages - but then failed with error:

File /usr/lib/python3.10/site-packages/archinstall/lib/installer.py,  line 1056, in add_bootloader
raise ValueError(f"Could not detect root (Partition(...) mounted =/mnt/archinstall)) or boot (None) in /mnt/archinstall (...)

This "None" thing makes me think it expects boot partition.
