[Solved] Failed to connect using xrdp from windows server 2022

I followed the official guide to install arch linux, mate desktop and xrdp, xorgxrdp in hyperv. The system is working fine and I can log into the desktop using startx.

But it failed to connect when I am using enhanced session i.e connect using hvsocket. Any help would be appreciated.

Appending exec dbus-launch mate-session in .xinitrc fixed the issue. I can now xrdp to the arch vm.
