I am trying to play music from my Dell E5470 laptop on my Anker SoundCore Bluetooth speaker. I can pair and connect the two but cannot play music on the speaker. Here are the machine details.

When I looked at the Xorg.0.log file (not sure why those logs should go in that file, but that's beside the point), the relevant messages are
(II) event5 - Anker SoundCore (AVRCP): is tagged by udev as: Keyboard
(II) event5 - Anker SoundCore (AVRCP): device is a keyboard
So apparently udev is assuming that the speaker is a keyboard. I am not sure how to fix this. Thanks.

Nothing, your Bluetooth speaker is a keyboard for media keys it has that doesn't deter from it's function as a speaker.
To play to audio to bluetooth you normally need an implementation which redirects your outputs there. This is usually done via either pipewire or pulseaudio, what are you using here? Outputs of
pactl list cards
pactl list sinks
?

That entry shows (some part of) your device connects through the Audio/Video Remote Control Profile which suggests it is much more then a speaker, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_B … le_(AVRCP)
Often X / udev have multiple entries for one physical device, please post the full xorg log .
What are you using for sound system : pipewire , pulseaudio or alsa ?

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
