[SOLVED *THANK YOU SETH!]GPU not being isolated to its own IOMMU group

hey all so as you can assume I'm trying to attempt a GPU pass through and have completed all the steps necessary from these sources:

Arch Wiki
This post on a something simular to my problem
This cheeky video
output for this script shows what i'm talking about, group 15 in particular are referring to my motherboard IO and for some reason I can't understand why the 1080 i'm trying to isolate is in the same group, perhaps the fact that it's available to the guest makes it so that it's considered part of my MB?:

also referring back to this post, I can not find ACS, Enable AER, and Alternate routing on my bios. but I do have IOMMU and SVM ENABLED if that helps you further. i have 4 pcie slots, i'm using the first one and last one (fourth one)
I also ran gpu-passthrough-manager but i got nothin.
Here are as many outputs that I think may help:

my question is, how can i make it so that the 1080 may be isolated into its' own IOMMU group without bricking my PC? TYIA smile

Excellent! that did fix my issue but another issue has arisen:
now when i run my virtual machine, my displays go dark (no signal), I had to force off my pc because I had no idea what to do with no displays, is there any way i can get logs of this kind of thing happening?

just posting for verification (I had zero confidence that this shit would work loolll)

Re: [SOLVED *THANK YOU SETH!]GPU not being isolated to its own IOMMU group

Ctrl+Alt+Del, Magic SysRq or a short press on the power button should get you a clean shutdown to inspect the journal of the previous boot (-b -1)
Ideally you can simply ssh into the system.

Re: [SOLVED *THANK YOU SETH!]GPU not being isolated to its own IOMMU group

thank you so much seth! I just had to remove the previous pci device from virt-man and readd from the new IOMMU device id configuration. but unfortunately I'm getting KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE on my virtual machine. This is likely due to me force shutting down my machine while the vm was booting up so i've essentially lost all information which is okay. I can just try to install another vm.
