Autoconf-Archive error in updating

When i use the command "sudo pacman -Syu" it downloads the packages but this error appears:

autoconf-archive: /usr/share/info/autoconf-archive.info-1.gz exist in file system
autoconf-archive: /usr/share/info/autoconf-archive.info-2.gz exist in file system
autoconf-archive: /usr/share/info/autoconf-archive.info-3.gz exist in file system
autoconf-archive: /usr/share/info/autoconf-archive.info-4.gz exist in file system
...

And extends to almost all items.
What should I do?

Re: Autoconf-Archive error in updating

The general approach to this error is outlined in https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Pacman … )%22_error it looks like you might have gotten some file corruption due to unsafe shutdown/writes. If you're unlucky your harddisk/ssd is dying, run a SMART test and check/post the output of smartctl: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/S.M.A.R.T.#Run_a_test
