[SOLVED] Issues installing libratbag / piper

inputs:

# pacman -S piper

or

# pacman -S libratbag

in either case, the result is a mile long list if 404 errors followed by:

error: failed to commit transaction (failed to retrieve some files)
Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.

full errors should always be shown, but in this case, 404s are almost always because you need to fully update the system.

I will give that a go, thank you!

I chose to omit the full error because it was several pages long and highly repetitive.

I will report back once I finish the update.
