Okay, I understand this is stupid as hell and so on, but...
I wanted to give Plasma a try. But it failed to amaze me so I used "pacman -R plasma" and the same command for all the other things like Konsole, Dolphin and other KDE utilities.
Now I'm back on MATE and I see problems.
First of them is that I can't disable/enable networking and/or Wi-Fi with NetworkManager Applet. Those options are just greyed out and I can do nothing to enable them.
Also, just like the always-enabled Wi-Fi wasn't enough - MATE loads very, VEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERYYYYYYY slowly now. I removed everything I could find from Plasma but it still refuses to load as fast as it was loading. Also, sometimes it loads, but resuses to display anything until I will jump to TTY2 and then back to TTY7.
I... Regret trying to fit Plasma and MATE on the same installation...
What could I break? Google and Duck say nothing about it.

OKAY, um, please don't hate me, but basically after 30+ reboots NetworkManager applet started working as it was supposed to. But the startup is still painfully slow though.
I found this (https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=285758) thread here where a person mentioned a slow startup. Before tinkering with Plasma I did a full update. Maybe it has something to do with my startup speed?

May 13 23:04:25 seacat17-laptop systemd-logind[476]: New session c1 of user lightdm.Boot until lightdm shows up is 6 seconds, I assume that's not what you meant by "VEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERYYYYYYY slowly".
But the update is the cause:
May 13 23:05:35 seacat17-laptop mate-session[707]: WARNING: Application 'marco.desktop' failed to register before timeoutOffline
So that means it's okay for now, and it's not my fault and I just need to wait for update? If yes - you can close the thread then, the problem solved by itself :'D

That's the working theory.
Mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
Thanks.
