Slow boot with non-existent dbus-org.freedesktop.home1.service

I am suddenly getting slow boot on my system:

systemd-analyze critical-chain

                                        └─-.slice @351ms

Seems like run-credentials-systemd\x2dtmpfiles\x2dsetup.service.mount is eating a lot of time. Not sure what x2dtmpfiles is neither.

Also I am getting this:

systemctl status dbus.service

May 14 07:37:40 taichi-z270 dbus-daemon[669]: [system] Activating via systemd: service name='org.freedesktop.home1' unit='dbus-org>

May 14 07:37:41 taichi-z270 dbus-daemon[669]: [system] Activating via systemd: service name='org.freedesktop.home1' unit='dbus-org>
...

which goes on. I am not running systemd-home. I tried to disable dbus-org.freedesktop.home1.service but message says it doesn't exist.

How does one go about debugging this? I'd like to add that the problem started after I reset my BIOS and it's possible the naming of devices might have changed as well.

Re: Slow boot with non-existent dbus-org.freedesktop.home1.service

homed spam is normal and very likely not the cause of any slowdowns.

THe graphical.target is reached after 3.6 seconds - is that reflective of the slow boot or is the concerned duration significantly longer?

Yes you're completely right. The information I gave was not really helpful. The delay occurs after the graphical target is reached and it seems to involved my Logitech Wireless receiver for keyboard and mouse:

I'll try different USB ports and see what will be the outcome.

Yes it does look like a bug. Hope it gets fixed by the next update. Thanks.
