Firefox & Sylpheed issues: "Bus Error"

checking package integrity... done.
loading package data... done.
checking for file conflicts... done.
installing firefox... done.
/var/lib/pacman/local/firefox-2.0-1/install: line 1:  3623 Bus error               sbin/ldconfig -r .

/opt/mozilla/lib/firefox-2.0/run-mozilla.sh: line 131:  3642 Bus error

And when I try Sylpheed, my regular mail client, I get:

Bus Error

This is a new install, I have only just set up X and went about installing my regular progs only to hit these two errors. Help would be appreciated.

EDIT: Also affects Rox. It's obviously one error effecting many programs.
