Re: Flash Player 9 in Unstable

damn....

The program 'Gecko' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'.
  (Details: serial 104 error_code 8 request_code 146 minor_code 3)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
   that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
   To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
   option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
   backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
/opt/firefox2/run-mozilla.sh: line 131:  3085 Segmentation fault      "$prog" ${1+"$@"}

Re: Flash Player 9 in Unstable

The problem with banners that expand when mouseover still persists. Banners that expand are shown in their minimized size at first, but with a white box covering the area they are going to expand to, when the mouse is over it. This is very annoying since it prevents one from reading whatever text is underneath the area that the banner will expand to, regardless of whether the banner is expanded or not.

I don't know what causes this issue, or if there's a plan to fix it

Re: Flash Player 9 in Unstable

After installing Flash Plugin 9.0.21.78 Beta 2, on this (rather excellent)  site: http://blogmusik.net/

konqueror reported that a newer version of the flash plugin was required.

Kazehakase operated fine, although stuttered when toggling between tabs, ie when the cpu instantaneously reached 100%.
