Issue with video after update on Nvidia

I have a Ryzen 9 based PC with Nvidia drivers and after updating the system, I have an issue, where my graphical login screen shows just screen, full of random pixel. I tried reinstalling nvidia, nvidia-utils modules to no avail.
Please help.

Alex

Re: Issue with video after update on Nvidia

I'd say https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=286024but that doesn't fit the nvidia vector (and is meanwhile fixed)

Re: Issue with video after update on Nvidia

I was able to resolve the issue by removing nvidia_drm.modeset=1 from kernel parameters. I added this parameter while trying Wayland a while ago but had to go back to x11, unfortunately I did not remove this kernel parameter after going back to x11.

Re: Issue with video after update on Nvidia

That parameter is rather not harmful, are you using GDM or SDDM?
