Thanks a lot. (:

It might be slightly off topic but I feel liable to say that my homepage design is inspired by two homepages from other arch users. One was cimi who has an absolute great hp design. *blush* And I forgot who was the second one. Sorry.

But anyway nice to see someone appreciate it. (:

Your screenshot looks completely perfect as usual.
But the file browser seems to be less usable than the console's `ls`-output. <:

There even is a link on the archlinux.org startpage. wink

The wallpaper, I'll find later... I got it off pixelgirlpresents somewhere.
That's not irssi, that's weechat.
Font is BVSM (Bitstream Vera Sans Mono)

I like teasing my older brother with linux screenshots via email.
(I actually saved him from the cult of macintosh using beryl and xgl, on Arch Linux.)

Oh, I didn't know there were any themes for weechat. Or is it self-made?

Re: November 2006 Screenshots

OpenBox 3, a (ever so lightly) patched pypanel, and conky.  The file manager you see is Thunar (svn build from unstable).  The terminal is rxvt-unicode and the blurred, darkened matching background is not courtesy of xterminus' background rotation perl script/daemon thing.  Although, its not automated, if you don't want to use the whole thing of xterminus' script and just want the blurred terminal all you have to do is make a few changes (the following requires imagemagick):

# first set your background (bg.png for this)
#if need be scale or resize bg.png to be for your resolution
convert -blur 5x5 -colorize 70 bg.png bg.xpm
# -blur can be anything you want just make sure it isn't above
# something like 30x30 or else you don't even see anything like bg.png
# for example i did 21x21
# and -colorize can be anything, the higher the darker, I did 79

Now add this to .Xdefaults:

urxvt*perl-ext-common: automove-background
urxvt*inheritPixmap: false
urxvt*backgroundPixmap: /path/to/bg.xpm

Then just do:

xrdb ~/.Xdefaults

and start a new terminal.

Redone my desktop a bit.  Still the same wallpaper and icons, but:
2006-11-24-202918_1280x1024_scrot-thumb.png

DarkGraph is the openbox theme (YEAH for rezza d: ) (openbox menu slightly modified, though)
Murrina X is the theme (hence the Murrina engine, YEAH for Cimi d: )

AND I'm using swiftfox.
