I updated my computer yesterday to the new version of GNOME, and now I have a problem with doublecmd-gtk2: the different auxiliary windows (view, search, synchronize dirs) always open very small, although their size is saved and should be read from $HOME/.config/doublecmd/session.ini.
The problem however is not with doublecmd-gtk2 alone. After update and before the reboot, ie with the older version of GNOME, everything was OK. Only after reboot the problem occured.
I read related and relatively old threads like:
Gnome/Mutter stopped recording last window geometry
GNOME doesn't save maximized window state after recent upgrade
but I am not sure if they are related to this issue.
Any ideeas?

Just now I saw that somebody addressed these problems with doublecmd-gtk2 and GNOME 44 recently in the doublecmd bug list:
Window size and position reverted to default values...
