I've cleared the pacman cache '$sudo pacman -Sc', removed orphan packages '$sudo pacman -Rns $(pacman -Qtdq)', cleared the cache in my /home '$rm -rf ~/.cache/*'
After rebooting, the fonts in i3 and polybar got missing as well as transparency (I use picom and alacritty). https://i.imgur.com/Kv3IDKu.png
Fonts in browser and other apps are displayed properly though and the system works fine.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Nevermind, I've solved the issue. The transparency actually worked fine. I just had to rerun '$wal -i ~/wallpaper.jpg' to regenerate the colorscheme which had been removed from the cache.

Please always remember to mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
Thanks.
