A Thinkpad P52, according to its specsheet, supports the Lenovo Pen. However, I can't find any mention of a stylus or touchscreen input device in dmesg or xinput. I installed xf86-input-wacom and xf86-input-evdev.

The BIOS has an option to disable the "Touch panel", disabling it has no effect on the touchpad so I can only assume its for the touchscreen.

Tore down the laptop and screen, turns out it just doesnt have the pen digitizer.
