I have 2 Arch Linux Gnome installations on one PC.
On both installations pamac is installed identically
$ yay pamac | grep Installed
11 aur/libpamac-aur 11.5.4-1 (+28 1.65) (Installed)
1 aur/pamac-aur 10.5.1-2 (+380 1.95) (Deprecated: 2023-06-20) (Installed)
But the tray icon at the top of the Gnome bar is different.
When there are updates, one icon shows a small blue dot at the bottom right.--> https://ibb.co/fSZxymZ
The other icon turns red.--> https://ibb.co/3SKKbCr
My question: Where is the appearance of the icon configured?
Thanks for your support

As those are not the same icons (shield form, and the serifes on the "i") I'd say you're just using different icon themes on those systems.
