Community repository no longer updating

It's been a few days that whenever I ran "pacman -Syu", it was saying "community is up to date". Which is weird because community used to be the repository which was always out of date when I ran "pacman -Syu".
So after some searching I decided to run "pacman -Syyu", and it's telling me the community repository is only 45B size. Why is it like this? Are my mirrors broken? Did a change to how pacman repositories work happened and now the community repository is redundant?
What's going on?

My mirrorlist:

Server = https://geo.mirror.pkgbuild.com/$repo/os/$arch
Server = https://mirror.rackspace.com/archlinux/$repo/os/$arch

My pacman.conf:

#
# /etc/pacman.conf
#
# See the pacman.conf(5) manpage for option and repository directives

Re: Community repository no longer updating

Ohhhhhhhhhh. Yes you are right I really should start reading the news from now on.
So if it's going to be empty, should I just disable it in my pacman.conf?

If you had merged the pacnew file that was created when you updated, then you wouldn't be asking that
