Depending on the actual value of /sys/power/mem_sleep, it fails differently: with "s2idle" it simply freezes (monitor is turned on, fans are spinning, but no reaction to mouse or keyboard presses). With "deep" it simply wakes up in few seconds automatically (but monitor blinks and mouse with keyboard become unresponsive for about 30 seconds).
