New install can't get gnome-softwre to work [SOLVED]

hello, just reinstalled arch on a machine I had some problems with BIOS...long story shot in the past I used to isntall arch and gnome, then pacman -S gnome-software-packagekit-plugin to make it work with arch's repo...but that package is not being found anymore, is there another package that substitute that one?
But in reality gnome-software is not really necessary, just quicker than terminal if i'm on the road and need some program.

just quicker than terminal if i'm on the road and need some program

well the way I do it is pacman -Ss or I search in here: https://archlinux.org/packages/
Is there some more efficient way?

How is that not efficient??
You could pipe pacman -Sl into some fzf for a simple TUI to search, show, select and install packages - it's hard to suggest anything w/o knowing what you're after.
