If I go here: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/xxd-standalone and click on "View PKGBUILD",
1. Why the resulting file is different from the PKGBUILD in "Download snapshot"?
2. Why it doesn't display any sources?

I checked a few other packages and that's far from the only package that has that issue.
mesa-git was up[dated on 2023-07-13 05:19 (UTC) and has it, but llvm-minimal-git was updated on 2023-07-15 14:52 (UTC) and doesn't have the issue.
singularity-git which hasn't been updated since 2021-12-13 12:33 (UTC) also has the issue.
It looks like something is wrong with the 'view PKGBUILD' function and needs to be looked at by aur webinterface maintainers.
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

Maybe use the plain view for the time being...
I checked a handful of packages and every one I checked showed this issue even some that haven't been updated in a while. It looks like it may always start at the "depends=(...)" line as that line and everything after it is not displayed on the normal view (but is available by clicking "plain").
