How can I force programs to use virtual microphone?

Hi. I'm using womic as a way to use my phone's microphone in my archlinux system. It seems it's using snd-aloop as it requires you to run the command [sudo modprobe snd-aloop] before actually run the womic program.
In Audacity, my microphone is: Loopback: PCM (hw:1,1)
I have access to the virtual microphone created using Audacity but I have problem with other programs like Chromium where they default to my built-in microphone. Is there anyway to force them to use the virtual microphone to redirecting audio data from virtual to real one?
