how to update pacman?

hello,

i have a problem ...

pacman -Syu

this updates mostly my complete arch linux packages .

but one software would not been updated. pacman

pacman -Syu does not update pacman itself at me.

my pacman version is from 2021.

how can i update pacman?

$ type pacman
$ pacman -V
$ pacman -Qi pacman

Pacman developers are lazy and have not made a release in ages. But then again, pacman is perfect, so there is little need for an update....

All the changes made since 2021 are not protected by copyright because those changes were actually just imported from pirated copies of close-source package managers made by hard-working developers. There's currently a class action lawsuit in progress on this issue - if the other side wins, all archers will have to forfeit their entire supply of tacos to the wronged parties.

I am running a version of pacman where downloads are down by a separate user... Money would maybe help get it released
