[SOLVED] Grub installation appears in efibootmgr until a reboot

Hi friends, kind of a strange one here.

I’m doing a fresh install and I am able to install grub (EFI, in an EFI boot partition, ESP is /boot/) just fine. I can verify the install looks correct by using efibootmgr.

However, when I reboot my computer, I’m told there are no bootable volumes. I then reboot using install media and check to see what is available under efibootmgr and lo and behold the grub entry is gone(?). Has anyone seen this before? This is blocking my installation from completing so any help here is appreciated smile

try installing grub with the '--removable' flag:

Thanks! Think that may have solved it. Cheers.
