Not able to open plasmashell due to gnome

I decided to try out gnome after a long time, so i installed it using

sudo pacman -S gnome

After that, i rebooted my computer and opened gnome, no issues there
But while trying to go back to plasma wayland, it didnt open in the lightdm menu itself. Even plasma xorg didnt work
Whenever i tried openening plasma, it gave a black screen and sent me back to the lightdm menu

So i opened gnome and am trying to fix any broken dependencies or anything, but so far this is the only hint i have gotten to what is broken

╰─❯ plasmashell --version
plasmashell: error while loading shared libraries: libicui18n.so.72: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

How do i fix this?
p.s.: I am running the latest version of archlinux as well, but have updated only core packages because of the lack of wifi right now

The mismatch between core is a partial upgrade which caused the issue.
