[Solved] Can't get game to run on Arch while it runs on Manjaro

I have this game on steam called Wargame Red Dragon (ID:251060) and I cannot get it running on Archlinux no matter what I try. Have tried different proton versions via the steam compatibility tab(Experimental, 8.0, 7.0, 5.13, 4.11). When opening the game I had different outcomes from it just freezing up my computer once the initial loading was complete (Proton 7.0) to it just not opening at all (Proton 8.0 and newer).
Using the arch based distro Manjaro it was no issue at all to get this specific game running (just installing steam, installing the game and proton via steam) and it runs normally with only mild instability while meddling with the video settings. From the freezes of the Arch OS I could not get any logs that were written as nothing was showing what led to the crash(or at least didn't know where to look).
What I would like to know is if anyone here knows what kinds of gaming related patches the manjaro team has done to that distro, that I could replicate on a stock Arch system, or if someone could point me to a resource where I could read up on the added packages/libraries/whatever that will make this game run. In my own googling I sadly was unable to find anything useful that would get the game running.
If there are any useful logs I could add I'd gladly do so. I just don't know which would be in this case.
P.S the game has a linux runtime but it has not been updated along with the windows version which is commonly played in multiplayer.

Re: [Solved] Can't get game to run on Arch while it runs on Manjaro

Thanks to your tip I managed to resolve the problem.
I don't have the full output of the journalctl, but there was a line that read something like this:

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'dxvk::DxvkError'

Then I found the following thread (https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=283483) in which I identified amdvlk being installed on my Laptop even though I have Intel integrated graphics. I removed all the AMD stuff and reinstalled steam from multilib using the correct dependencies. The game works now. (It is surprising that other games worked, only Wargame was unhappy with that package being there...). Sorry for the lacking log documentation, I will try to do better next time.
Thanks again for the help smile
