Plasma Network Speed widget shows nothing

Since some days (I don't remember exactly how many) the Network Speed widget on my Plasma desktop stopped to work. No line is displayed, and I can't find anything related to networking in the sensors list in the widget configuration. Can anybody please provide some help? Thanks.

Anybody else experiencing the same issue? I'm using a Dell XPS 15 9570 laptop.

The problem persists here, but I noticed that KSysGuard plots the network usage correctly so something weird must be happening to the widget.
