[SOLVED] failed to start xorg, missing simpledrm_dri.so

After yesterday's upgrade, I can't start xorg with startx. I got a black screen, and my monitor says no signal detected.

I use a nvidia GTX 750 Ti video card, and use startx to run dwm window manager.

Message from startx says simpledrm_dri.so is missing, but pacman -F shows no one provides this so file.

Switching back to linux-lts and nvidia-lts fixed the issue.
Still don't know why non-lts version doesn't work.

You'll have to provide xorg log and/or system journal for the affected boot.
You're not interested in simpledrm_dri, likely the nvidia kernel module wasn't installed/loaded, possibly nouveau in the initrams.
Hard to tell based on essentially no relevant data.

You're running on the nvidia chip, there's an output attached and you get

Do you use xinit/startx?
Please post your xinitrc.

To mitigate this try (and I cannot believe I'm now writing this) nvidia-xconfig to generate a static server config and put that into /etc/X11/xorg.conf

I think I've found this cause.
I use a script to set up my monitor. And the script uses xrandr -q | grep connected to check the number of connected monitors.
On the 6.1.43-1-lts kernel,  the command returns the correct answer:

HDMI-0 connected 2560x1440+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 597mm x 336mm

But on the 6.4.8-arch1-1 kernel, the command returns:

HDMI-0 connected 2560x1440+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 597mm x 336mm
None-1-1 connected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)

There's a "None-1-1" monitor that doesn't actually exit.  Not sure if this is a bug in the 6.4 kernel.
And this "None-1-1" made my script crazy and caused the issue.
