I've experienced this before, and was able to resolve it by downgrading the glibc and lib32-glibc packages
sudo pacman -U glibc-2.36-4-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst lib32-glibc-2.36-4-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst
However, after a recent update, my system crashes when I try to repeat the process

I tried reverting the updates but it broke my system

Keep glibc updated, the EAC issues should be fixed with 2.38-2

I tried a few other times and broke the system in all of them lol
I believe that waiting is really the best solution
