Hello everyone. Could you please advise me a good application for monitoring network connections?
Something that shows real-time connections, IP addresses (resolving the hostnames also) and the amount of data exchanged.
Open source and lightweight is preferred. I already tried some applications, but none of them fit entirely my purpose. There are some alternatives, but they're on the command line. It's not bad, I don't dislike the command line, but if there's something graphically, I'd prefer it.
I already tried to search on the internet for these kind of software, but most of the applications are paid closed source or open source, but outdated.
I'd like to know from you what you use and what you advise. Thanks.

Yes, it does not resolve the hostnames and does not show the country.

it does resolve hostnames, and you never said anything about showing country

It would maybe helpful to name the CLI tools you'd like to replace w/ some GUI thing as well as the tools from https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/List_o … k_security that you've already ruled out.

There are plenty of it: https://www.tecmint.com/linux-network-b … ing-tools/

Nevermind. sniffnet is a good choice. Personally, I don't like its interface, but there's no good alternative.

I didn't remember it resolves hostnames, but its interface is very bad, worse than sniffnet, which it's not the best itself.
